McGregor is the closest town with full services; gas, food and lodging are also available in the Big Sandy Lake and Lake Minnewawa areas north of McGregor. Many businesses along State Highway 65, County Road 14 and County Road 6 provide a multitude of services. Area lakes are famous for Walleye fishing and recreational opportunities for a variety of water sports along with wildlife and bird watching. Fall colors delight the eye along the roads in this area during late September into October.
