This 47-acre subunit of the Ripple River Wildlife Management Area, administered by the Minnesota DNR, contains the public water access for Mallard Lake. Upland alder thickets, Black Ash and low grassy areas are the dominant vegetation. The lake access is a carry-in type with a wooden dock.
