One of the states most popular fishing lakes, with a multitude of services found around the shoreline of this big lake. Many restaurants, motels, lodging facilities, gas and grocery stores are located along the shore. Towns with services include Isle, Wahkon, Garrison and Malmo. The Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe have a museum, casino, movie theater, grocery store and more south of Garrison on the west shore of the lake.
