29. State Highway 47 follows the east shore of the lake north from Isle – full services in town.

30. Malone Island Road, also called North Scenic Drive, over the bridge to Malone Island, limited parking, views of the bay, causeway and lake. Cattail marshes and open water to search for waterfowl along with Muskrat, Red-winged Blackbird, Marsh Wren and Sora.

31. Scenic overlook, located north of Isle on State Highway 47. Turn west on Vista Road to the access. View of the lake plus the woods surrounding the parking lot to check for passerines.

32. Also on Vista Road along the east shore are Mac’s Twin Bay Resort and Buzzi’s on the Bay bar/restaurant with lake views.

33. Cedar Creek Public Access on State Highway 47 has a large parking area and woods surrounding the parking lot and boat ramp.

34. 455th - Sunset Bay Resort has a wide sandy beach and lake views

35. Junction of State Highways 47 & 18 – Township Access – this short road has no parking and no turn-around area. Rock pile jetty may host roosting birds.

36. Fisherman’s Wharf Resort & Flagship Inn Restaurant – lake views with a rock pile for roosting gulls, terns, waterfowl. County Road 28 west to lake – Liberty Bar and Restaurant with miniature Statue of Liberty and lake views.

37. Hunters Point Resort on the county line has views of the lake.

38. 170th - one mile north of county line, view of the lake

39. 212th Lane – Fisher’s Resort has a landing and nice views of the lake.

40. 216th Lane – Castaway’s Resort has a landing and nice views of the lake.

41. Mille Lacs National Wildlife Refuge – Spirit and Hennepin Islands
